An Introduction of Childhood Anxiety for Parents
In today's fast-paced world, the mental well-being of our children is more important than ever. As parents, educators, and caregivers, it is crucial that we equip ourselves with the knowledge and tools to support and nurture their emotional growth. Dr. Shumka will provide an overview of childhood anxiety, including signs and symptoms of an anxiety disorder. She will also provide parents with a brief understanding of prevention and intervention strategies using evidence-based practices, most notably cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT).
