Join us for a memorable afternoon at Bingham Riverhouse as we host a traditional afternoon tea in support of the forthcoming theatrical production, Mr Moore's Bizarre Secret Society.
Enjoy a delicious afternoon tea before an exclusive reading by acclaimed stage actress Sarah Finch, whose distinguished career includes performances with the Royal Shakespeare Company, Regent's Park Open Air Theatre and London's West End.
Inspired by the imaginative worlds of Charles Dickens and Lewis Carroll, Mr Moore's Bizarre Secret Society is a magical new production celebrating storytelling, imagination and the power of community.
Following the reading, you'll have the opportunity to meet the creative team behind the production and hear more about the inspiration and vision that brought this enchanting story to life.

Gloria Danili is a children’s book author with a master’s in Creative Writing and Production from the Università Cattolica in Milan. She has published stories with renowned publishers in Italy (Lapis, Piemme and Edizioni Corsare), France (Pocket Jeunesse, including a five-book series written as Angélique Chevalier and inspired by Dumas’ The Three Musketeers), Turkey (Kitapchi) and Greece (Dioptra). Drawing inspiration from her lively childhood imagination, background in scenography for Italian children’s TV programmes—including DeaKids’ Freestyle! Tutta un’altra stanza—and experience volunteering as a hospital clown in the footsteps of Dr Patch Adams, she creates enchanting stories for young readers, from picture books to novels for ages 4–11+. |

Sarah Finch’s work includes seasons with the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) and Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre, Pirandello’s Henry IV in the West End with Richard Harris, and various plays at Shakespeare’s Globe. Her screen work includes Disney’s C.S. Lewis: Dreamer of Narnia; the BBC series The Pickwick Papers, Campion and Second Sight; and the feature film Man Dancin’. Sarah also works extensively abroad as a director and actor, including in Italy, Cuba and Morocco, and across Europe—most recently touring Etty…in transit in Austria. |
