Entrepreneur's Breakfast with Mark Ormrod
Friday 19th June | 9am - 10.30am
Friday 19th June | 9am - 10.30am
What does it really take to rebuild - not just a body, but a life, a purpose, a reason to keep going?
This month, we welcome Mark Ormrod MBE: former Royal Marines Commando, author, and Britain's most decorated Invictus Games athlete - for a conversation about resilience, mental strength, and what it means to define your own limits.
Mark's life changed forever on Christmas Eve 2007, when he became the UK's first triple amputee of the Afghan conflict. What followed was a story not of survival alone, but of relentless reinvention - walking again, competing at the highest level, raising hundreds of thousands for veterans, and being awarded an MBE for services to the Armed Forces and Veteran Community.
His message is disarmingly direct: choose who you listen to. Back yourself. Set the next goal. For any entrepreneur who has faced a setback, a pivot, or a moment of doubt - Mark's story is a reminder of what the human spirit is capable of when it refuses to accept the ceiling others set for it.
Guests will have the opportunity to share ideas, connect and collaborate within our vibrant community of members and entrepreneurs.
Expect an uplifting and thought-provoking morning of conversation, courage and connection.
Ticket includes nourishing Riverhouse breakfast table- good for gut, mind and mood.
