Riverhouse Book Club | Books to Wake Us Up

Monday 21st September | 7pm - 8.30pm

Long before it was a hotel, Bingham Riverhouse was a house of writers.

Between 1899 and 1914, the poets Katherine Bradley and Edith Cooper lived here writing as one voice, "Michael Field," turning these rooms into a literary salon that drew Yeats, Ruskin and Browning to their door. We're picking up where they left off.

Once a month, on a Monday evening, we're gathering by the river to read the books that unsettle us in the best way - the ones that ask us to look closer at our patterns, our stories, ourselves.

Come with tea in hand. Leave with something to sit with. We choose the next read together - every session closes with a vote and a one-page guide lands in your inbox the week before.

Hosting moves between members, keeping it personal, keeping it ours.

Hosted by Sophie Brigstocke (Integrative Trauma Coach & Breathwork Facilitator) and Kate Hogan (Integrative Psychotherapist & Founder, Kate Hogan Wellbeing)
